

OVERVIEW
Sustainability and inclusivity, two interconnected components in creating effect, have grown in significance as the global economy continues to change. In the context of the Inclusive Business (IB) and Social Enterprise (SE) models, this discussion centers on the significance of sustainability and inclusivity. Programs that give businesses the knowledge and resources they need to evaluate and improve their social impact.
Participating businesses will investigate ways to monitor and manage effect, innovate for low-income populations, become investment-ready and obtain financing, and evaluate their own level of inclusivity.
The Eighth ASEAN Inclusive Business Forum is organised by the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (MECD), Malaysia, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
OBJECTIVES
To highlight the importance of incorporating inclusivity and sustainability into business strategies
To examine key challenges and opportunities for integrating inclusivity and sustainability into business models
To provide a platform for businesses, including women-led IB and SE entities, in sharing successful inclusive (IB and SE models) and sustainable business models and discuss how they engage stakeholders in their inclusive and sustainable journey
