My Pledge
1. Policy advisory support:
Oxfam commits to contribute in developing recommendations that will strengthen the enabling policy environment for the promotion and growth of inclusive and responsible business across the ASEAN, and facilitate dialogue between ASEAN governments, civil society organizations and social movements, and the private sector for this purpose.
2. Inclusive and sustainable business development:
Oxfam commits to work with the private sector, particularly with the ASEAN’s robust MSME community, to incubate inclusive and responsible business models and standards that will also promote key sustainability elements such as women’s economic empowerment and equality of opportunity, climate change resilience, social protection, a green economy, and inclusive growth in general.
3. Access to finance:
Oxfam commits to work with ASEAN member states and multilateral financing institutions to develop mechanisms and modalities that will mobilize affordable and accessible financing for inclusive and responsible businesses, including micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs), risk reduction arrangements for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to crowd in investors, and the provision of incentive mechanisms for inclusive and responsible businesses in the ASEAN.
4. ASEAN Inclusive Business Knowledge hub/centre:
Oxfam commits to support a Community of Practice on inclusive and responsible business that will generate knowledge products, showcase and promote operational models on such, and provide specialized technical support for MSMEs in enabling inclusive and responsible business models that will be linked with the ASEAN Inclusive Business Knowledge Hub/Center.
